The Monark Rehab Trainer is ideal for those with handicaps of the lower extremities. Besides general activation and form-building exercise, mobility exercise and muscle exercise can also be accomplished. Upper extremity exercise improves strength and endurance — important for patients who need wheelchairs or walking aids. Useful in stress testing. And the Rehab Trainer doubles as a bicycle ergometer for patients with limited capacity for movement in the hip and knee joints. The patient can be seated in a comfortable chair rather than perched atop an exercise bicycle.
